In 2011, Vellee Deli started out with a simple idea: bring together the best of Asian and Mexican flavors to create something special. From our food truck, we served marinated pan-Asian meats paired with Mexican-inspired sauces, transforming familiar dishes into bold, crave-worthy meals. What started as an experiment quickly became something people loved.

As word spread, we knew it was time to set down roots. Our first storefront opened in downtown Minneapolis, where we kept serving the same flavors our food truck fans had come to know and love. But after a few years in the busy downtown scene, we wanted to offer something a little more relaxed—a place where people could slow down and really enjoy good food.

That’s how our Brooklyn Park location came to be. We created a laid-back, welcoming space with ample parking and a dining area. It’s the perfect spot for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle, whether for a quick bite or a long, relaxed meal with friends.
