In 2011, the two loves of Asian and Mexican cuisines melded inside a food truck to create Vellee Deli. Our menu features marinated pan-Asian meats and Mexican-inspired sauces and sides.

We emphasize the use of quality ingredients and exquisite flavors to create a unique and memorable dining experience that’s fresh, accessible, and highly craveable.

After roaming the streets of Minneapolis and St. Paul for a few years, Vellee Deli opened its first store in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Looking to move beyond the hustle and bustle of the downtown lunch scene, Vellee Deli dropped the ‘Deli’ to open Vellee, a warm, laid-back, and leisurely space to welcome anyone looking for good food and good times.
